1. Flaw detection

In the metal material and its uniform material dispersion, it can be used for the detection of internal defects because of the reflection surface formed on the pages of different materials. It can detect the defects of all welding parts raw materials and all positions, and can find the defects more dexterously, but it is difficult to clarify the characteristics, appearance and size of the defects. Therefore, flaw detection is often used in conjunction with radiation detection.

2. Radiographic inspection

Radiographic inspection is a kind of inspection method that uses the characteristics of radiation penetrating chemical substances and attenuation coefficients in chemical substances to find defects. According to the radiation used in flaw detection, it can be divided into X-ray flaw detection and γ-ray flaw detection.

Because of the different ways of displaying information defects, each radiographic inspection is divided into weak electrolyte method, display screen observation, photography method and industrial TV method. The key of radiation detection is to detect defects such as cracks, incomplete penetration, blow holes, and welding flashes inside the welding.

3. Infiltration detection

Penetration detection is to use the physical characteristics of some liquids such as water permeability to detect and display information defects, including color detection and fluorescent flaw detection, which can be used to check the surface defects of ferromagnetic materials and non-ferromagnetic materials.

4. Magnetic detection

Magnetic flaw detection can only detect the defects of the surface layer and near-surface layer of the magnetic metal, and can only make qualitative analysis of the defects, and the characteristics and depth of the defects can only be estimated based on work experience.

Magnetic detection is to use the electromagnetic field to detect the defects caused by the magnetic leakage caused by the magnetized metal material parts of the magnet. According to the different ways of measuring magnetic flux leakage, it can be divided into magnetic particle inspection method, induction coil method and magnetic recording method. Among them, magnetic particle inspection method is widely used.
