Lead pipes are tubes made of non-ferrous metals - lead. Generally refers to a seamless tube formed by extrusion by a press.Lead pipe mainly has good corrosion resistance, and can resist sulfur dioxide, 60% hydrofluoric acid, acetic acid with a concentration of less than 80% and 15% to 65% sulfuric acid corrosion. The maximum allowable temperature is 140°C.It is not resistant to corrosion of concentrated hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and hypochlorous acid, potassium permanganate, etc. It can also be used for shielding radiation in medical devices and shielding rays in nuclear materials.

Lead pipes are divided into pure lead pipes and alloy lead pipes. Pure lead pipe also becomes a soft lead pipe, the grade is Pb2, Pb3. Alloy lead pipe is also known as hard lead pipe, commonly used grades are PbSb0.5, PbSb2, PbSb4 and so on.

Lead pipes are easily rolled, forged or welded.
